I am Erica, I'm 28 years old and I live in central NY. We have lived in our current home since May of 2009. Before that, we lived in Austin, TX for 6 1/2 years. We loved it there, but after our first 2 children were born, we decided that it was time to move back home so that our children could know and be close with their grandparents, aunts & uncles, and cousins. I came from a very close family and wanted the same for my kids. So, here we are and we absolutely love being back and spending so much time with our families! And my favorite part is that my kids know and LOVE their Grandparents, Aunts & Uncles, and cousins!
So, just a little more about me...I am a licensed Vet Tech and really enjoyed my job while I was working. But when Kevin and I discussed that it was getting about time for us to start a family, I changed gears and started an in-home daycare. (This was while we were in TX) I am now just staying home with my own little clan and I feel so lucky to be able to do this! My 3 kids are enough to keep me busy, that's for sure and we have a lot of fun!
Speaking of....I believe it is time to introduce you all to my clan:
This is my oldest, Katelin. She was born in March of 2007 and is 3 1/2 yrs old. She is independent, smart, creative, and sweet! She is a fantastic big sister and such a big girl.
This is my middle child and only boy, Ryan. He was born in August 2008 so is 2 yrs old. He is the sweetest, most loving little guy you have ever met. He is also the busiest child I have ever met in my life! He N E V E R stops and he gets into everything, but that is only because he is so curious and inquisitive. He has to check everything out and try to see how it works. He also is an amazing big brother and our little man!
This is my sweet baby girl Megan. She was born this past June 2010 and is 6 months old. She is the final addition to our family and she was the perfect completion. She has been such an amazing gift! She is the sweetest, easiest, most mellow baby! She is very social...her whole face just lights up when someone smiles at her. She is almost crawling (she is doing the inch worm thing) and scoots all over the floor.
And this is my other half and best friend Kevin. We have been married since July 2004 (6 1/2 yrs) and together for 11 1/2 yrs and we fall more in love every day. We were high school sweethearts and have been together ever since. We feel so fortunate to have found each other so young! We just know that we are one of those forever couples. We complete each other and are always happiest when we are together!
